Hot Start Taq DNA polymerase is an optimized mixture of Taq DNA polymerase & anti-Taq DNA polymerase monoclonal antibodies. Antibodies block polymerase activity during set-up of the PCR reactions at ambient temperature (20-22 °C). The inhibition of Taq DNA Polymerase is reversed when the temperature is above 70 °C. The PCR products obtained with Hot Start Taq are Free from nonspecific products and primer-dimers.

SPECIFICATIOS : Enzyme is supplied at a Conc. of 5U/µl along with one vial of 10X buffer, one vial of additional MgCl2 & one vial of DNase Free water.

STORAGE BUFFER : 10 mM TrisHCL (pH 7.0), 0.1mM EDTA, 50 mM KCL, 50% glycerol.

SUPPLIED REACTION BUFFER (10X) : 670mM Tris HCL(pH 8.8), 160 mM (NH4)SO4, 0.1% Tween-20, 25mM MgCl2.

STORAGE : Recommended storage is at-20 °C.

APPLICATIONS : Suitable for complex genomic cDNA templates, low copy number targets, large number of thermal Cycles, multiplex PCR. Quantitation of viral loads by Real-Time PCR etc.
