diagnosticsgenome.com Home Products Molecular Regents Enzyme Uracil-DNA Glycosylase (UDG)E. coli uracil-DNA Glycosylase(UDG) catalyzes the release of Free Uracil from Uracil containing DNA. UDG efficiently hydrolyzes uracil from single-stranded or double stranded DNA, but not from oligomers (6 or less bases).
SPECIFICATIONS : Enzyme is supplied at a Concentration of 20U/µl along with one vial of 1X reaction buffer.
STORAGE BUFFER : 20mM Tris-HCL (pH 8.0), 50 mM NaCl, 0.1mM EDTA, 50% glycerol.
SUPPLIED REACTION BUFFER (10X) : 20mM Tris HCl(pH 8.0) 1mM EDTA.
STORAGE : Recommended storage is at -20 °C.
APPLICATIONS : For elimination of carry over contamination, DNA sequencing, cloning of PCR amplified DNA, Generation of site directed/nested deletion mutants, Study of DNA-Protein interaction.
